I'm interested in arithmetic geometry. I did my bachelor's and master's at King's, during which I wrote my 3rd-year and master's dissertations on the geometry of the quaternions, and the Grothendieck-Katz p-curvature conjecture. When I'm not reading Maths textbooks, I enjoy reading fiction (all genres, except fantasy and sci-fi). I also have a mild addiction to Project Runway.

I am broadly interested in algebraic number theory in the direction of the Langlands program. At the moment, I am interested in learning more about how algebraic number theory can be studied by considering related more analytic objects such as modular forms. I previously studied at Cambridge, where my Part III essay was about Gross and Zagier's On Singular Moduli. Outside of Maths, I enjoy listening to progressive rock music and solving Rubik's cubes.

I am a PhD student of Prof Mikhail Karpukhin and I am learning about spectral geometry. I am a Martingale scholar. Before LSGNT, I did my MSci at Imperial. Outside of Mathematics, I like baking/cooking and sharing what I made with friends. I also enjoy playing football but currently I do not like watching it.

I am interested in low-dimensional topology and geometric group theory. I especially enjoy being able to study structures in both an algebraic and geometric way (by drawing lots of pictures!). Before the LSGNT, I did my undergraduate and master’s at the University of Oxford. Outside of Mathematics, I enjoy baking, running and being by the sea.

I am broadly interested in learning about algebraic number theory, and applications of other areas of Mathematics to number theory. I previously completed an integrated masters at the university of Warwick where my thesis lay in the intersection of group theory and combinatorics.

My mathematical interests lie in gauge theory, geometry, and analysis. Before coming to London, I completed my bachelor's degree at Northwestern Polytechnical University in China and my master's degree in the ALGANT program (Leiden & Regensburg). My master's thesis was on family Seiberg–Witten theory. Outside of mathematics, I enjoy playing video games and chatting with people.
I am currently interested in aspects of symplectic/Poisson geometry as well as the geometry of integral affine manifolds. I studied my bachelors in University of Galway, Ireland and my masters in KU Leuven, Belgium. Outside of Maths, I play drums in a band and I also enjoy surfing.

I am interested in geometry and its applications to machine learning and AI safety. I’m particularly curious about how theory from high dimensional geometry, optimization, and geometric analysis can help improve mechanistic interpretability. Before joining the LSGNT, I studied Mathematics and Computer Science at Tufts University. Outside of Maths, I love exploring new places and experiences, going on runs, and spending time with friends.
I am interested in differential geometry and geometric analysis, specifically within the intersection of special holonomy, calibrated geometry, and gauge theory. I like problems where the presence of some special geometric structure on a space implies restrictions on its geometry and topology. I did my previous work at the University of Waterloo, where I studied the relationship between the Hodge theory of a G_2 manifold and its topology via the loop space. Outside of Mathematics, I like playing and writing about narrative video games, watching gridiron football, and listening to really loud indie rock music.

I am interested in Number Theory, in a yet to be specified way. I did both my Bachelor’s and Master’s at Cambridge, and my Master’s thesis was on Arithmetic Statistics, which was really cool, but I’m looking forward to studying many more other areas at the LSGNT. Outside of Maths, I love running (parkrun in particular), going to gigs, and I have a black belt in taekwondo.
